The Gold Rush showcases the fierce talents and creativity of twelve drag performers as they compete for the title of ‘THE NEXT NUGGET OF DRAG TALENT’, creating gag-worthy and show stopping performances that test their skills, creativity and talents.

The format sees audience and guest judges decide who stays and who goes, with the bottom two performers battling it out in ‘The Showdown’ - with one leaving the competition each week.

The unscripted cast of diverse drag performers create, rehearse and perfect their acts in the hopes of winning a grand prize of $3000, a Mac make-up bundle, goodies from JML Direct, LuvJus and Dragr. With heart-wrenching backstories and jaw-dropping reveals, The Gold Rush has it all. It’s not just a competition, it’s a celebration of drag culture, diversity, and self-expression.
